Ludwig Pöttinger inherited his entrepreneurial spirit from his father, Sebastian Pöttinger, the founder of the company. Just like his passion for details and his understanding of all company divisions. Owing to his outstanding expertise, he is a perfect contact for customers and employees alike.

Since 1973, he has been responsible for the fate of our company of long tradition. After 43 years in the business, Ludwig Pöttinger is handing over responsibility for the construction company to his son, Philipp. Ludwig Pöttinger will continue to take care of project development and the management of the company’s own property portfolio.

After graduating from New York’s Columbia University with a MSc degree in Real Estate Development, he overcame the temptations of the Big Apple – Philipp S. Pöttinger never toyed with the idea of doing anything else in his professional life but to enter the family business.

Since 2005, he has supported his father in the executive management. Perfect teamwork: old school entrepreneurship is successfully complemented by modern leadership style. Especially the new ideas of the young generation have ensured continuous growth of the Pöttinger Group contrary to all general economic trends.

Matthias Reinhard

Since October 2017, Matthias Reinhard has been managing director of S. Pöttinger Bauunternehmung together with Philipp S. Pöttinger.

His goals include expanding cooperation with Pöttinger Projektentwicklung, intensifying cooperation with business partners and forcing the acquisition of new customers. The sharpening of the company profile with clear process flows and the increased use of digital applications are of particular concern to him. As a construction company, he would like to participate in the planning phase at eye level, for the greatest possible benefit of all parties involved.
